I am freeze for a while

I don't know how to react to the utterance

 I also surprise to my act

I got a lot of Why?? questions

1. Why I am so busy??

2. Why I cannot just enjoy my life since life is short??

3. Why I got so many works??

4.Why all works got submission date??...

5. Why??...

I always ask those questions

Unfortunately

So far

I couldn't find reasonable answer

You need to take note

I become serious due to my tension

My tension build up because of my works

My works construct because of my superiors

Review for 'Bini-biniku Gangster'

Last time,I got phobia to watch local movies...

Why??Hehe,because the acting is in slow motion,all actors and actresses in the movies "menghayati" the moment too much...I don't the angles of shooting of the movies also,make me headache! 

So far,Puteri Gunung Ledang and Bini-biniku Gangster is the most favorite Malay movies I watched..

Both of them are made in Malaysia,that's what I am proud of! :)

I felt want to watch the movie when I saw the advertisement on TV 

(the power of advertisement to persuade people again)

Some more,the story seems interesting to me,when it comes to female gangsters (normally guys right??)...

Let me bring you some stories about Bini-biniku Gangster. It is been screen on 22 September 2011 in Malaysia, directed by Malaysia famous director, Ismail Hashim. There are Shaheizy Sam (Henry), Yana Samsudin (Manja), Intan Ladyana (Reanna), Zalif Sidek (Mat Saja), and Zul Handyblack (Muza) as the actors and actresses in Bini-biniku Gangster.

Haha,the story is talking about Henry,husband for Manja and Reanna. Manja is the head of a gangster group while Reanna is sister of Min Siam who is the head of opposite site of gangster group of Manja.

Actually the story line of the movie is just so-so only...because you already know the contain of the story when you read the title of movie. Bini-biniku- there is a husband got more than two wives and the husband is the narrative,gangster-the wives fight to each other...

But,it comes to interesting to see how the husband gonna fix the pie... ^_^

I feel quite disappointed to the end of the movie. I thought something romantic like the 1st wife will leave the husband due to his safety reason...or the second wife die in some accident...to make the movie happily ever after...

But,the story end with the husband also a gangster...

Suppose,this should be the climax,but i didn't feel any climax in my brain...

Only thing is, Wooooooooooooo...Gelinya topeng dia.... =_=

But,never mine,they still did a great job in the movie...

Hope to watch high quantity of Malaysia movies soon which high quality...

Short Formal Office Lady Skirt...

I still remember,about one and half months before,I wore a short formal office lady skirt to attend class.

Many guys stare at my uncovered part of legs...

Okay,it's acceptable,due to some reason,I understand...

First of all,I want to declare that the short formal office lady skirt that I mentioned above is under the knee and black color...

The story started at...

A senior came to approach me,told me a statement...

"Your skirt just like mini-skirt,is nice but don't cover much" =.= (sweating)

I am a good girl,I acted cool and smile politely to him.

When I went back to room,I called John,told him about the incident.

Haha...The first sentence came out was "Wow!He think who is he ah,simply say this..................."

I don't want to make it as an issue,but personally it was really hurt.

I am a Chinese,born with Chinese blood,practicing Chinese culture,staying with Chinese people...

When I study in kinder-garden I wore short dress, when I study in primary school,I wore short school dress, when I study in secondary school, I also wore short school skirt.

Since the first step of mine in university,I try my best to accept people culture as well,as least I know about them.

I always ask about their culture,their beliefs,their everything when I got the questions.

However,sometimes,this respectfulness won't pay back with the same behavior.

Some more did some unofficial survey throughout my faculty dean and lecturers,they all told the same statement,"as long as the skirt is formal and under the knee,it is acceptable to wear for class"

Hehe,now,still I am wearing short formal office lady skirt to class...

People may be start to accept my style of clothing,I can wear long skirt,baju kurung,but I won't give up my short skirt.

I want to be who I am,I don't want to act hypocrite.

That's not Grace...

This is my personal experience in my university...No offend yar... :)

When you read the title of this post,might be you will think...

What's about the door?

Is that something about mystery??

Or...

Actually it does not relate to anything mystery or horrible event,because I scare of these kind of stuffs also.

Why i want to suffer myself,right?? :)

The door I mentioned is the main door of my house...

For your info,I like to sit in living room,to study,to read,to online,to chat,to anything lar...

because the space in living hall is bigger than my room...

some more nobody want to use the living room,so,I kindly took the space as my study room...

Haha... :)

Of course when housemates ask me to "rent" the living room to them,I definitely willing to do that...

But,so far,none.... =.=

Okay,actually what is happening...??

Go back to the main door...

My house main door got some problem,it can't close by itself,if human being don't want to do the action of closing a door!

As you know,now is Monsoon season,Monsoon Cup held in Terengganu...

everyday rain...rain...and rain...

When rain,naturally got wind...

Hey!!When the door blow by wind,it is pretty annoying!!!

Just imaging I am study...The annoying sound pop out...Yi...Ei...Yi...Ei...

So,please,if your friends are the people who don't like to close the door after in or out,no matter just a second or a few hours...

Let them know the story...or let them feel the situation...

Hehe,no offend yar...

但是到现在我又有一个问题

比如说现在升学的费用是RM30.000

10年后在你存到RM30,000的时候

那RM30,000的价值是不是还是和10年前一样？

我想大家的心里有数

This time I will share with you a nice place to go when you want to have a party

"Ri-Yaz Heritate Resort"

It is a very famous resort in Terengganu

This is because of the theme of the resort give a special feeling to the visitors

The view and environment which created by the resort are totally suitable for the people who love nature and tradition of Malay culture

I were very happy and excited when I know I will be there

Again~I am here to share something
Hehe

As you all know
UniSZA stands for Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin
Which located in Terengganu State, Malaysia


From my understanding

The university has a long and interesting history
Before UniSZA form
She was a Islamic college, KUSZA (Kolej Ugama Sultan Zainal Abidin) 
which provided course (More to Islamic Field) for secondary school students 
who wished to further their study in Middle East


In the UniSZA Official Website


 On March 26, 2005
Malaysia Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Abdullah Haji Ahmad Badawi announced the formation of the university 
by given the name UDM (University Darul Iman Malaysia)
Then, followed by the appointment of the first Vice Chancellor, Dato’ Professor Dr Alias bin Daud, on January 1, 2006

After somedays
Universiti Darul Iman Malaysia changed her name again 
For you information
Darul Iman is the second name of Terengganu State
Just like Perak Darul Ridzuan

My University motto is "Knowledge for the Benefit of Humanity"
And I love the UniSZA song very much


Before KUSZA only open for Muslim (Malaysian and foreign students)
But now UniSZA is open for all Malaysian and also foreign students


The islamic values in my university are still strong
I am happy with that also 
due to the tradition of the college never change
although the status of the education place was changed from college to university

Besides that
I could see the changes that the university that trying to do everything 
to achieve the target "1 Malaysia"

 The university members try their best to gather all the students
no matter you are Muslim, Buddhist or Hindu
Or you are Malay, Chinese or Indian
When come to events, all are welcome


However
Somethings should change
What are the things that should change??

Okay!

Today I would like share with you a kopitiam in Terengganu~~

Kopitiam is like cafe but more to Chinese style

The word is a Malay borrow word from Chinese language

^o^

Why always Terengganu?

Hehe~

Aiyaaaa~Tasty food everywhere~Just I feel Terengganu is a nice place to post 

since many people thought Terengganu is a Kampung place

If compare to Ipoh, Perak.

:-)

So, please change your mind after read all the interesting place in Terengganu...

The Kopitiam name is "UMAR"

Umar is a variant translliteration of the Arabian name for OMAR (Reverso, 2008)

So, the shop name undoubtedly is a code mixing example.

The combination of Arabian and Chinese-Malay words.

The environment in the kopitiam~~

Suitable for small gang around 4-5 people to "lepak" (gathering) and drink something!

The feel of kopitiam~~Wow!!!!

 Hehe~~This is Tomyam soup with Beef~~My friend, Izaty said eat with rice really GOOD TASTE!!!

 

 Aini food~~Nasi Goreng Tomyam Seafood (Seafood Tomyam Fried Rice)~~~YUMMY!!! The squids are really big and juicy!

 My beloved brother, Iqbal food!! Mee Bandung!!

 YUMMYYYYY!!!! The taste of mee and sauce are perfect!!!

BUT in Umar Kopitiam~You can get one Iced Cappuccino only in RM2.00~~

It is a truth!!

Of course the taste is not so nice like the RM 4-6

It still considers nice~

Haha~It is worth for the price

Inside the meal

There is a crab, some seafood and Fried Maggi Mee~

So~Interesting!

 The prices of food and drinks in the kopitiam are Ok~

Students are afford to take lunch and dinner everyday~

  Because the minimum cost to take a meal in Umar Kopitiam is RM 6 (Main Dish and Drink )~

Hahahaha~~I am hungry after I finish this Post~~

Because a few days ago
John presented me a banquet of Roses

I love PINK~~~!!!!

When talk about ROSE

In our mind, come out with some words

ROMANTIC

LOVELY

VALENTINE

ROSE is just like a symbol for these words in between of couple

BUT

Is that really the range for the abstract meaning for the word ROSE so small???

For couples~They do not think much about the question~
Not because of they are stupid
BECAUSE~They are truely in LOVE

I learned Sapir-Whorf Hypothesis Theories last semester
I strongly agree to Sapir and Whorf idea about the relationship between human thoughts, languages and cultures

I deeply believe our thoughts, behaviors and cultures are determined by language/s

For example

In English

"Rice" uses in 
All structures of Rice

no matter it is cook or not

no matter where it plant

English uses adjectives to describe the Rice

In Malay
"Rice" exists in many forms 
Padi-The Rice in Field
Beras-The Rice which haven't cook

NASI-Cook Rice

So,I believe that language also shape the language users thought

It proves again 
In Malay language

Bunga Rose-Melambang kecantikan, kasih sayang dan keberanian (Frederico Mahora, 2009)

In English language
Rose is ancient symbol beauty and love (Wikipedia, 2011)


Unconsciously, our thought shape by the language that we use everyday
When we talk about ROSE
Automatically~LOVE~BEAUTY~


So,one question again!
How about the bilingual and multi-lingual people?
Are they having different perception than the mono-lingual people???

"NGILU" UniSZA DEKON 2011

Hi~It was a long time I don't post anything in this blog~

I am really sorry in this~

Actually there is a reason~

I were busy in a job~

I need to practice to represent UniSZA in FESTIVAL DEKON MAKUM 2011 in Universiti Malaysia Sabah~

The practices were start since the last date of my final exam in semester 4~

I still remember the date is 4th of May 2011~

The first meeting was at night~

A memorable night FOREVER~

In that night~

I met Amar~Jerry~Sepet~Aiman~En. Zul~

Of course the person that I know before the meeting~En Sham (My formal co-theater facilitator)~ 

^_^

First I will explain to you what is DEKON~

Hehe~

Actually I am not very good in the definition~

Because the whole world also blur for the definition~

Haha~

But never mine~

I try to explain to you what is DEKON~

DEKON is an acronym~

From two Malay words~

~DEKlamasi (Recitation) laKONan (Acting)~

It is different from the theater~

The most significant different is in theater an actor/actress only holds for a role...

BUT in DEKON~an actor/actress could be hold for more than one role~

For example~In DEKON~

An actor~His main character is a 20 years old man~Then he also can be a 70 years old woman  by changing his identity in that character suddenly and smoothly~

And I would like to say that DEKON~

Is really a very good challenge to a theater player~

In the title of the post~You can see "NGILU"~

"NGILU" is the title of the UniSZA DEKON in 2011~

"NGILU" is Malay word~

Which normally would not used in daily conversation like me~

Hahaha~

I took a long time to understand the word~

I think might a few days~

Haha~This made my facilitator~and my group members all headache~

You know~

I am not good in Malay~

ENGLISH also in OK level only~

Hehe~

"NGILU" in my understanding is some hurt or pain that you hardly to express to others~

For example~

You having sensitive teeth~when you drink the cold water~the pain can consider as "NGILU"~

Hehe~

GOD is the one who decide the result~

BUT I must up-grade to convince GOD give me something~

My family members support me fully all the time~

When they got to know the result of the DEKON 2011~

They tried to be with me~

They know me well~

Hehe~

I am not a strong girl~

On that day~

I cried!

Not because of the result~

It was because of the LOVE that I got from FAMILY!!!FRIENDS!!!

I appreciate the kindness of the GOD to me~

I got the LOVE from the people that surrounding me~

I AM NOT ALONE~

I hope YOU ARE NOT ALONE also~

Some events could make me grow up~

Remember when you lost something~the GOD will give you something~
